Athol Savings Bank is the largest mutual savings bank based in the North Quabbin region.  Being a mutual savings bank we have no shareholders.  Our decisions are made locally and our name has remained the same since 1867.

Despite these uncertain economic times our Bank continues to be rock solid.  We have a capital base that is more than twice the regulatory standards and we are deemed "well capitalized" by the FDIC.  Our strength is evident simply by passing through the doors of our Main Office, which was constructed in 1927.  All deposits are insured in full through the FDIC and the Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF).

Bauer Financial, Inc., an independent bank research firm, has awarded us with a 5 Star rating each quarter for over 20 years in recognition of our financial strength and stability.

Athol Savings Bank offers a wide variety of consumer and commercial deposit and loan products, and we are committed to servicing the customers and communities throughout our region.  The Bank believes  in reinvestment which is done through financial donations and volunteerism of employees and the Bank's resources.
